Update on LPEA grant:$2325

- Photos or Videos: We kindly request that you share any photos or videos showcasing the utilization of the grant funds. We would greatly appreciate seeing the impact of our support.

- Statements of Appreciation: Thank you letters, quotes of appreciation, and statements of how the grant funds have supported your organization to use for promotions are helpful.

Southwest Water Conservation Board at large board member position opening for recreation representative:
Need to find out when application deadline is/election is
Need to attend 4 meetings/year (Alternate btw Cortez and Durango) usually start 2:30/3:00pm and last 2-3 hours. Attend meetings, preferably in person. Review materials beforehand takes about 30 mins.

July 24, 2026 Cortez – Dolores Water Conservancy District
October 23, 2026 Durango – Location TBD

- That person could then have access to the state wide summit or participate
- This would give ARS a chance to learn more about future funding
- Alternatively we could just present to the 40 person round table board to share our progress and solicit feedback from diverse water interested parties.

Update from Scott McLane from October 10th email:
1. We have spent some time on outlining the Request for Proposals and Scope of Work but not finished yet. I will be out of office next Monday through Wednesday, November 5. We should still be good with schedule to get Request for Proposals out, receive proposals and have something to take to the Financial Advisory Board early in 2026.
Winter/Spring events?
1. Giveaway matty dreads board submit video content on socials
  1. Goal 1,000 social media followers by runoff! By April 1
  2. Someone who participates will get the board. They’ll get a Matty Dreads board Animas River Trash boards
