This raffle was about more than just giving away a handcrafted surfboard—it was about building momentum for the future of river surfing in Durango.
Thanks to everyone who entered, shared, donated, and supported the cause. Every ticket purchased helped push this project forward and showed just how much energy there is behind bringing a surf wave to the Animas River.
The Prize: A Handcrafted Colorado Board
The raffle featured a custom river surfboard from Colorado Surf Supply, known for building boards specifically designed for standing waves and river conditions. Their boards are handcrafted in Colorado and built for performance on the river.
Supporting the Future of River Surfing in Durango
Funds raised through the raffle go directly toward advancing the mission of Animas River Surfers—expanding access to river surfing and working toward a future surf wave right here in Durango.
River surfing continues to grow as a sport that brings people together, offering a consistent and accessible way to experience the river.
